Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump’s husband, may be known for being the First Daughter’s spouse and the American president’s favorite son-in-law, yet his remarkable career often goes unseen by the public.

Son of a billionaire real estate developer, Jared learned about the business from his father and later took over the family real estate business, Kushner Companies, following his father’s conviction and incarceration. That’s when his business career was launched and he thrived as a real-estate investor and developer- here’s to a son who inherited his father’s keen business genes.

Jared may have always been wealthy, but he made sure to pursue an Ivy League education by graduating from Harvard in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and then from New York University in 2007 with dual JD/MBA degrees. In 2006, he purchased The New York Observer and impressively became a publisher while still in his mid-20s- a very uncommon yet inspiring accomplishment for someone that young.

In 2007, he shocked everyone and made headlines by purchasing a Manhattan office building at 666 Fifth Avenue for a sum of $1.8 billion, breaking records as the most expensive single property purchase in US history at that time. A year later, Jared became the CEO of Kushner Companies- what more could one desire than being named CEO by the age of 27?

In 2009, he married Ivanka Trump, the daughter of another real-estate tycoon who is now head of state of one of the world’s political superpowers. When President Trump’s political campaign began, Jared was one of his key advisers. He could be considered Mr. Trump’s right-arm man during the whole campaign period as he aided him with merchandising, writing speeches, social media engagement, and choosing Mike Pence as his vice presidential candidate. Jared was more than just a son-in-law; he had become Mr. Trump’s top consultant.

After Donald Trump won the elections, his transition team announced that Kushner would be named as a senior adviser to President Trump, thus landing him a very prominent and significant position in the White House.
